Research Background: The goal of this study is to develop interactive English teaching materials based on local wisdom using a scientific method to help junior high school students in Aceh Besar enhance their English language abilities. This study is part of a larger research and development project. This learning product development approach is one that is programmed in a systematic order and takes into account the learning characteristics of students.

Research Results:    According to the findings of research on the development of interactive teaching media based on Acehnese local wisdom and a scientific approach, the teaching materials developed have met the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) eligibility standards, and the results of expert validation, trials with English teachers, and student responses indicate that the teaching materials are good. created has met all of the requirements and is appropriate for use in English classes at SMP Aceh Besar.

Review    :    According to what I've read, there are a number of serious issues with English education in Aceh Besar. One of the most alarming issues is have not been able to get closer and introduce regional wealth in Aceh Besar to students, different learning needs are based on geographical, ethnographic, and regional characteristics of wealth. Good teaching materials are those that are developed according to the needs of their users, namely needs based on geographical, ethnographic, and regional characteristics of wealth.

Despite the fact that this article is really fascinating to read. However, this study did not disclose sufficient information regarding the methodology used, the sample employed, and the precise location of the research. Then there's the question of what happened at the research site. Furthermore, because of the small sample size and lack of diversity across people, the findings are restricted in their generalizability. Future study on the programs must include a full description of the program as well as a bigger, more diverse sample to provide confirmation of the challenges with English Education in Aceh Besar.
